Utrecht is a proud supporter of the Paint Straight Program.
At the Brooklyn Family Court there is an unusal art show - canvases with the artwork of creative young Brooklynites who have committed graffiti offenses. This program, launched in 2008 by the Deptartment of Probation, provides the participants a legal forum to showcase their work along with weekly meetings addressing topics relative to the negative effects of grafitti. Recently, the program has been taken to the next level with the addition of mentors from Xmental University and alumni.
